Series

The FBC Presecondary Series contains the learning guides for MAT P101, MAT P102, MAT P103, and MAT P104. The guides’ easy-to-read layout has been adapted to the clientele.

All learning guides in the FBC Series use examples from real-life situations.

  • Each chapter includes a real-life simulation problem, an introduction to the essential knowledge, examples and learning activities promoting mastery of the essential knowledge, a summary and review exercises that recap the essential knowledge, learning situations that target acquisition of operational competencies, and evaluation exercises with an answer key and teachers’ evaluation grid based on the definition of the evaluation domain.
  • Each learning guide includes a section of additional learning situations for all operational competencies and essential knowledge covered by the course.
  • At the end of each learning guide, a test entitled Are You Ready for the Chapter Test? lets students ensure that they have mastered each section’s essential knowledge and operational competencies before proceeding to the evaluation.
