Just like us, plants and animals generally live alongside neighbours. In these communities, known as “ecosystems,” different animals share resources like food, water, and access to sunlight. The plants and animals in an ecosystem vary based on the type of environment, which is influenced by non-living elements like rainfall, temperature, and seasonal changes. In other words, an ecosystem brings together plant and animal species who share a lot in common! Here, we focus on linking the different species with their habitats and the elements that they need to thrive.
